SEATTLE — A few hundred people marched Sunday in Seattle to protest the wars in the Middle East, marking the seventh anniversary of the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq.
The Seattle Times reports that the demonstrators marched for an hour through downtown Seattle streets.
The march was organized by several groups.
Jane Cutter, one of the organizers, said she was pleased with the turnout, but that the numbers Sunday didn’t rival marches from earlier years, which attracted thousands.
