Accident investigation blocks Bothell-Everett Highway

MILL CREEK — Several lanes of the Bothell-Everett Highway at Mill Creek Boulevard were blocked as police investigated a collision, officials said.

Rescue crews were called around 1:40 p.m. to reports of a cyclist hitting a vehicle. The cyclists, a Snohomish man, 52, was taken by ambulance to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, said Mill Creek police spokeswoman Robin Swanson.

Officials plan to reopen all lanes by this evening. Drivers are encouraged to seek alternative routes.
