Coast Guard Seaman Ryan D. Roberts, son of Yvonne Harris of Marysville and Douglas Roberts of Clarkston, recently graduated from the U.S. Coast Guard Recruit Training Center in Cape May, N. J. Roberts is a 2007 graduate of Clarkston High School.

Army Reserve Pvt. John B. Liddell III has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. Liddell is the son of John and Mable Liddell of Mountlake Terrace and is a 2006 graduate of Mountlake Terrace High School.

Army Pvt. Kyle A. Rairigh has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla. Rairigh is the son of Cheryl Rairigh of Oak Harbor.
