Army Reserve Pvt. Sophia J. Garcia has graduated from the automated logistical specialist advanced individual training course at the U.S. Army Quartermaster Center and School at Fort Lee in Petersburg, Va. Garcia is the daughter of Maureen Capellan of Oak Harbor.
Aimee R. Racine recently graduated from the Army Reserve Officer Training Corps leader development and assessment course, also known as “Operation Warrior Forge,” at Fort Lewis in Tacoma. The cadet is a student at the University of Washington. She is the daughter of Richard and Cheryl Racine of Marysville and is a 2003 graduate of Marysville-Pilchuck High School.
Elena T. Gardner recently graduated from the Army Reserve Officer Training Corps leader development and assessment course, also known as “Operation Warrior Forge,” at Fort Lewis in Tacoma. The cadet is a student at Seattle University. She is a 1996 graduate of Kamiak High School.
Luke R. Nagle graduated from the Army Reserve Officer Training Corps leader development and assessment course, also known as “Operation Warrior Forge,” at Fort Lewis in Tacoma. The cadet is a student at Central Washington University, Ellensburg. He is the son of Sam Nagle of Marysville and is a 2003 graduate of Marysville-Pilchuck High School.
Cadets in their junior and senior year of college must complete the leadership development course. Upon successful completion of the course, the ROTC program and graduation from college, cadets are commissioned as second lieutenants in the U.S. Army, National Guard or Reserve.
