Air Force Airman Michael Anthony Nelson graduated June 30 from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of Darry Nelson of Everett and is a 2003 graduate of Mariner High School, where he played football. Nelson also attended Edmonds Community College.
