Air Force Airman Ezra C. White has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. White is the son of David and Paula White of Oak Harbor and a 1999 graduate of Oak Harbor High School.

Army National Guard Spc. Emily R. Tveit has arrived in Iraq at a forward-operating base and will be stationed there for a year. She is the daughter of Larry and David Carol Tveit of Everett and a 2001 graduate of Mountlake Terrace High School.

Army Pfc. Kyle M. Gochnour of Everett is heading out for nine weeks of basic training at Fort Jackson, S.C., before obtaining additional training at Fort Sill, Okla. He is a 2001 graduate of Cascade High School and a 2003 graduate of The San Diego Golf Academy, where he earned an associate’s degree in business. Gochnour is the son of Julie and Steve Statham of Everett and Mike Gochnour of Mukilteo.
