Air Force Airman James N. Harrod has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. Harrod is the son of Laurence and Frieda Harrod of Arlington and is a 2003 graduate of Arlington High School.

Army Pfc. Christopher C. Rhodes has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson in Columbia, S.C. Rhodes is the son of Pauline Rhodes of Monroe and a 2005 graduate of Lake Washington High School in Kirkland.

Air Force 1st Lt. Lindsey A. Jacksonhas graduated from specialized undergraduate pilot training at Columbus Air Force Base, Miss. She earned silver wings with an aeronautical rating of pilot in the Air Force. She is the daughter of John and Diedri Jackson of Oak Harbor. The lieutenant graduated in 2000 from Oak Harbor High School, and earned a bachelor’s degree in 2004 from the University of Washington.

Army Pfc. Christopher Schmitthas graduated from advanced individual training at Fort Gordon, Ga. He will serve as an information systems operator-analyst at Yongsan Army Garrison in Seoul, South Korea. Schmitt is the son of John and Alise Schmitt of Marysville, and the grandson of Herb and Enola Fliger of Everett. He is a 2001 graduate of Marysville-Pilchuck High School.
