Air Force Airman Christopher Bradley M. Porto has graduated from the Air Traffic Control Operations Apprentice Course at Keesler Air Force Base, Biloxi, Miss. He is the son of Cynthia Peterson of Snohomish.
Army Pfc. Glenn R. Jornales has graduated from the Network Switching Systems Operator-Maintainer advanced training course at Fort Gordon, Augusta, Ga. Jornales is the son of Nilo and Annie Jornales of Oak Harbor. He is a 2000 graduate of Oak Harbor High School and received an associate degree in 2002 from ITT Technical Institute in Bothell.
Army Pvt. Joshua P. Lorello has graduated from the Network Switching Systems Operator-Maintainer advanced training course at Fort Gordon, Augusta, Ga. Lorello is the son of Paul and Tammy Lorello of Arlington. He is a 2003 graduate of Lakewood High School.
John K. Klein graduated from the Army ROTC Leader Development and Assessment Course, also known as “Operation Warrior Forge,” at Fort Lewis in Tacoma. He is the son of Richard Klein of Edmonds. Klein is a 2002 graduate of Meadowdale High School and is attending Gonzaga University.
Air Force Senior Airman Jeremy S. McLane, son of Bernadita McLane of Oak Harbor, is assigned to the 51st Mission Support Squadron. This is the most forward-deployed Air Force unit within Korea and is located less than 50 miles from the demilitarized zone that separates North and South Korea.
McLane, a 2000 graduate of Oak Harbor High School, is a personnel employment journeyman.
“Twice a week, I in-process 10 to 200 personnel who arrive at the base,” he said. “I screen records to ensure they are current and up to date.”
