Army Reserve Pvt. David E. Barnhart Jr. has graduated from basic training at Fort Sill in Lawton, Okla. He is the son of David Barnhart Sr. of Everett and Luci Barnhart of Marysville. Barnhart Jr. is a 2002 graduate of Marysville-Pilchuck High School.

Army Reserve Pvt. Evan T. Dodson has graduated from basic training at Fort Jackson in Columbia, S.C. He is the son of Dennis Dodson of Edmonds. Dodson is a 2004 graduate of Kamiak High School.

Army Pvt. Krista M. White has graduated from basic training at Fort Jackson in Columbia, S.C. She is the daughter of Teresa White of Everett. White is a 2004 graduate of Mariner High School.

Army Pvt. Matthew R. Conklin has graduated from basic training at Fort Jackson in Columbia, S.C. He is the son of Lana and Terry Conklin of Marysville. Conklin is a 2002 graduate of Grace Academy in Marysville.

Army Pvt. Christopher M. Russell has graduated from the M2/M3 Bradley fighting vehicle system maintainer advanced individual training course at Fort Knox, Ky. The course trains soldiers to maintain, operate, troubleshoot, remove, repair and replace parts and systems of components on the Bradley. Russell is the son of Karla Russell and Michael Russell, both of Lynnwood. He is a 2003 graduate of Lynnwood High School.

Army Pvt. Raymond J. Illman has graduated from basic training at Fort Sill in Lawton, Okla. He is the son of James Illman of Everett. Illman is a 2004 graduate of Shorecrest High School.

Army Pvt. Adam P. McGhan has graduated from basic training at Fort Still in Lawton, Okla. He is the son of Ken and Julie McGhan of Constantine, Mich. His wife, Arlene, is the daughter of Edward Nearing and Liza Nearing, both of Marysville. McGhan is a 1996 graduate of Constantine High School.
