Navy Seaman Apprentice John Perry Frymire has completed basic training at Navy Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. He now is in master-at-arms training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. A son of Michael and Rebecca Frymire of Monroe, Frymire is a 2010 graduate of Sultan High School.

Air Force Airman 1st Class Jeremy A. Totman graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Totman earned distinction as an honor graduate. He is the son of Jacquie and Chris Burcham of Mountlake Terrace, and is a 2004 graduate of Mountlake Terrace High School.

Air Force Airman 1st Class Travis W. Guion graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Guion earned distinction as an honor graduate. He is the son of Lee Guion of Snohomish. The airman graduated in 2005 from Snohomish High School and in 2009 from Eastern Washington University.

Air Force Airman 1st Class Zachary S. Meyer graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of Victoria Mills of Union Gap and Jerry Meyer of Snohomish. Meyer graduated in 2004 from Juanita High School and in 2009 from Washington State University.

Air Force Airman Braden P. Thomson graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of Celeste Davenport of Burleson, Texas, and Ira Thomson of Everett, and is a 2010 graduate of Mariner High School.

Air Force Airman Steven E. Seton graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Seton earned distinction as an honor graduate. He is the son of Fred Seton of Marysville and Edwena Seton of Cashmere. The airman is a 2007 graduate of Cascade High School in Leavenworth.

Army Pvt. Ryley J. Ruddock has graduated from a tracked-vehicle recovery specialist course at Fort Knox, Ky. Ruddock is the son of Holly and Joe Ruddock of Everett, and is a 2009 graduate of Mariner High School.

Army Reserve Pvt. Noah M. Paul has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. Paul earned distinction as an honor graduate. He is the son of Mike and Debbie Paul of Marysville.

Navy Seaman Travis G. Attaway, son of Gregory and Paula and brother of Michaela Attaway of Sultan, was promoted to his current rank upon graduation from Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. Attaway received the early promotion for outstanding performance during all phases of the training cycle. Attaway is a 2010 graduate of Sultan High School.

Air National Guard Airman Jeffrey S. Williams graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Williams is a 1995 graduate of Kamiak High School.
