Army Pfc. Erin Cochran, a 2001 Monroe High School graduate, has completed basic training at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., and is attending the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, Calif. She is the daughter of Dale and Maureen Cochran of Snohomish.

Army Pvt. David A. Rouse has graduated from basic and advanced training at the U.S. Army Infantry School, Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga. Rouse is the son of Steve and Judi Rouse of Lynnwood. He is a 2003 graduate of Snohomish County Christian School, Mountlake Terrace.

Army Reserve Pvt. Jason C. Green has graduated from the automated logistical specialist training at Fort Lee, Petersburg, Va. Green was trained to establish and maintain stock records and other documents such as inventory, material control, accounting and support reports. He is the son of Richard Green of Mill Creek. He is a 2002 graduate of Henry M. Jackson High School.

Army Pfc. Aaron S. Borden has returned to the 173rd Airborne Brigade in Vicenza, Italy, after completing a deployment to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom with additional participation in Operation Northern Delay, the largest airborne assault since World War II. Borden, an infantryman, is the son of Suzanne Smith of Marysville and is a 2002 graduate of Prove High School, Lake Stevens.

Air Force Senior Airman Daniel B. Tait has graduated from the Airman Leadership School. The five-week course prepares senior airmen to serve as supervisors and leaders. The airman, a maintenance controller with four years of military service, is assigned to the 100th Communications Squadron, RAF Alconbury, Cambridge, England. He is the son of Jonathan Taylor of Mountlake Terrace and Judy Tait of Lynnwood. Tait is a 1996 graduate of Mountlake Terrace High School.

Marine Corps Pfc. David A. Glein, son of Pamela and David Glein of Oak Harbor, recently completed basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, Calif. Glein is a 2000 graduate of Oak Harbor High School.

Army 2nd Lt. Eric J. Gordon has graduated from the U.S. Army Ranger School at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga., with authorization to wear the distinctive Ranger Tab. He is the son of Gary and Nancy Gordon of Redmond, and his wife, Kari, is the daughter of Kurt Langendorfer of Snohomish.
