Army Reserve Pvt. Takldet T. Andeberhan has graduated from the automated logistical specialist training course at Fort Lee, Petersburg, Va. Andeberhan was trained to establish and maintain stock records and other documents such as inventory, material control, accounting and support reports. He is the son of Teklesenbet Andeberhan of Lynnwood and is a 2003 graduate of Lynnwood High School.

Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Charles F. Jenkins, son of Paullette and Marven Jenkins of Everett, recently returned from a deployment to Iraq with the amphibious transport dock ship USS Ogden. Jenkins is a 1993 graduate of Mariner High School.

Air Force Airman Daniel L. Roll has graduated from basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Roll, a 1999 graduate of Oak Harbor High School, is the son of Lisa King of Oak Harbor.

Air Force Airman 1st Class Thomas E. Andresen has graduated from basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of John Andresen of Mukilteo. Andresen received an associate degree in 1999 from the Art Institute of Seattle.

Four Marines with local ties recently returned from a deployment with the USS Peleliu, which conducted operations in Iraq and the Red Sea. Marine Sgt. Ryan E. Dixon, Sgt. John Morin, 1st Lt. David M. Manimtim and Cpl. Joshua J. Bauer were deployed with the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, based out of Camp Pendleton, Calif. Dixon is the son of Kathleen Kelly of Everett. Morin graduated in 1997 from Oak Harbor High School. Manimtim is the son of June Boe of Lynnwood and a 1990 graduate of Mountlake Terrace High School. Bauer is a 2000 graduate of Arlington High School.

Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Kory L. Rose, son of Janel and Troy Rose of Arlington, recently graduated from the Navy’s nuclear power school at Naval Nuclear Power Training Command, Goose Creek, S.C. Rose is a 2002 graduate of Marysville-Pilchuck High School.

Coast Guard Seaman Philip R. Thomas, son of Deidre Ward of Clinton and Steve Thomas of Mukilteo, recently graduated from the U.S. Coast Guard Recruit Training Center in Cape May, N.J. Thomas is a 2003 graduate of Kamiak High School.

Air Force Airman Mitchell L. Ashton has graduated from basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of Christina Nokes of Snohomish and Daniel Ashton of Sultan. The airman is a 2003 graduate of Arlington High School.
