Air Force Airman Forrest R. Fennell has graduated from basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Fennell, a 2003 graduate of Weston High School, is the son of David Fennell of Arlington.
Navy Seaman Aaron T. Dittamore, son of Debra and Gary Dittamore of Snohomish, recently reported for duty at Naval Air Station, Lemoore, Calif. Dittamore is a 2000 graduate of Monroe High School and joined the Navy in August 2003.
Navy Hospitalman Gilbert G. Umayam, son of Betty and Gil Umayam of Oak Harbor, recently graduated from the Basic Hospital Corps School at Naval Hospital Corps School, Great Lakes, Ill. Umayam is a 2001 graduate of Oak Harbor High School and joined the Navy in July 2003.
Marine Corps Pvt. Dale L. Horton, son of Maria and Lloyd Horton of Coupeville, recently completed basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, Calif. Horton is a 2003 graduate of Coupeville High School.
Air Force Cadet Todd Meyer has earned honors with placement on the dean’s list at the U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colo., for demonstrating excellence in academic studies and maintaining a 3.0 or better grade point average for a semester. Meyer is pursuing a bachelor of science degree in biochemistry. He is the son of Charlie and Sandra Meyer of Startup and graduated in 2000 from Sultan High School.
Air Force Senior Airman Robert J. Welch has graduated from Airman Leadership School at Hickam Air Force Base, Honolulu, Hawaii. Welch is an intelligence analyst assigned to the 324th Intelligence Squadron. His wife, Jennifer, is the daughter of Thomas E. Fitzgerald of Lake Stevens.
