Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Andrew Dickson, son of Robert Dickson and stepson of Beth Dickson of Arlington, recently graduated from the Navy’s basic nuclear power school at Naval Nuclear Power Training Command, Goose Creek, S.C. Dickson is a 2002 graduate of Arlington High School and joined the Navy in February.
Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class David Benson, son of David Benson of Lynnwood, has been awarded the Navy Good Conduct Medal. The medal recognizes the sailor’s honest and faithful service during a three-year period. To earn the award, Benson achieved and maintained a satisfactory level of performance and an unblemished conduct record. Benson is a 2000 graduate of Mountlake Terrace High School and joined the Navy in June 2000.
Navy Hospitalman Apprentice Richard Timonera, son of Rebecca Bristol and stepson of Jeffery Bristol of Oak Harbor, recently graduated from the basic hospital corps school at Naval Hospital Corps School, Great Lakes, Ill. Timonera joined the Navy in January 2003.
Navy Petty Officer 1st Class Isagani Lyman, whose wife, Ofelia, is the daughter of Remedios Ramos of Oak Harbor, recently returned from deployment with the USS Carl Vinson carrier strike group.
Victoria Kehoe of Granite Falls has joined the Navy and will receive training in the general detailing electrician program. She is the daughter of Robert and Sharon Kehoe of Granite Falls. Kehoe will report for active duty in June for basic training at Recruit Training Center, Great Lakes, Ill.
