Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Charles F. Jenkins, son of Paullette and Marven Jenkins of Everett, recently departed on deployment with the amphibious transport dock ship USS Ogden. Jenkins is a 1993 graduate of Mariner High School.
Marine Corps Pvt. Robin Somerville, son of Michelle and Richard Somerville of Everett, recently completed basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, Calif. Somerville is a 2003 graduate of Snohomish High School.
Navy Seaman Apprentice April Green, daughter of Sheryl and Michael Green of Oak Harbor, recently completed basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. Green is a 1999 graduate of Oak Harbor High School.

Albaugh, son of Lisa and Calvin Albaugh of Stanwood, recently completed the Navy Nuclear Power Training Unit course at Naval Nuclear Power Training Command, Charleston, S.C. Albaugh is a 2002 graduate of Stanwood High School and joined the Navy in October 2002.

Navy Seaman Apprentice Ryan M. Duckworth, son of LeeAnn Edwards and stepson of Jeff Hart of Bothell, recently completed basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.
Navy Hospitalman Shawn C. Brooks, daughter of Lori and Jerry Brooks of Lynnwood, recently graduated from the Basic Hospital Corps School at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. Brooks is a 1996 graduate of Lynnwood High School and joined the Navy in April 2003.
Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Kenji Webb, a 1995 graduate of Kamiak High School, recently returned from an eight-month deployment with the USS Iwo Jima while assigned to the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit. The deployment included operations in Iraq and Liberia.
