Marine Corps Pfc. Kenneth A. DeWitt, a 2003 graduate of Mariner High School, Everett, recently completed basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, Calif.

Air Force Airman Alan C. Andersen has graduated from basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is a 2003 graduate of Marysville-Pilchuck High School. Marine Corps Pvt. Donald J. Westby of Arlington recently completed basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, Calif. He is a 2002 graduate of Weston High School in Arlington.

Marine Corps Pvt. Tyler J. Corwin, a 2003 graduate of Snohomish County Christian School, recently completed basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, Calif.

Ryan M. Brincat has graduated from the U.S. Army Warrant Officer Candidate School at Fort Rucker, Daleville, Ala., and has been appointed to the rank of warrant officer 1. He is the son of Cathy L. Opray of Everett and Manny Brincat of Wenatchee.

Air Force Reserve Airman Norma A. Buford has graduated from basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. She is the daughter of Amparo Magana of Monroe.

Marine Corps Pvt. Chad J. Evans, son of Stacy Evans of Edmonds and Terri Pullin of Edgewood, recently completed basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, Calif.

Air National Guard Airman Noah M. Wick has graduated from basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. His mother, Deborah W. Lindal, lives in Edmonds. His father and stepmother, Rando and Ketia Wick, live in Seattle.

Air Force Airman 1st Class Kyle S. Waldo has graduated from basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of Kylette Powers of Arlington and Mike Waldo of Billings, Mont.

Marine Corps Pvt. Jared F. Kahn, son of Cheri Barham of Bothell, recently completed basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, Calif.

Marine Corps Pvt. Dane R. Griffin, son of Kathie Merrick of Everett and Robert Griffin of Bellingham, recently completed basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, Calif.

Navy Hospitalman Jocelyn D. Quillen, sister of Jeanine Quillen of Oak Harbor, recently graduated from the Basic Hospital Corps School at Naval Hospital Corps School, Great Lakes, Ill.
