Army Pfc. Winston Almelia has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. He is the son of Angela Almelia of Everett, and is a 2008 graduate of Mariner High School.
Army Pvt. Sepe Benjamin has graduated from Basic Combat Training at Fort Leonard Wood, Waynesville, Mo. Benjamin is the daughter of Jarinda Benjamin of Marysville.
Army Pvt. Richard Bean has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. Bean is the son of Troy Bean of Stanwood and Jane Robertson of Everett. The private is a 2009 high school graduate of Edmonds Community College.
Army Spec. Kevin Min has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga. He is the son of Rak Ker Min of Lynnwood.
Army Reserve Pvt. Nathan Bullock has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. He is the son of Delonna Reynolds of Spanish Fork, Utah, and Christopher Bullock of Snohomish. Bullock is a 2008 graduate of American Leadership Academy, Spanish Fork.
Army National Guard Pfc. Amy Hansen has graduated from Basic Combat Training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla. She is the daughter of Michelle Mather of Edmonds. Hansen graduated in 2007 from Mountlake Terrace High School and earned an associate degree in 2009 from Shoreline Community College.
Army Pfc. Solomon Motlok has graduated from the Basic Field Artillery Cannon Crewmember Advanced Individual Training course at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla. Motlok is the son of Jilon Motlok of Everett.
Ethan Pointer has graduated from Officer Candidate School at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga., and was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army. He is the son of Terry and Terri Pointer of Mukilteo. He graduated in 1997 from Kamiak High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in 2002 from the University of Washington.
Coast Guard Reserve Seaman Recruit Colin Blyther, son of Michelle and Alan Blyther of Oak Harbor, recently graduated from the U.S. Coast Guard Recruit Training Center in Cape May, N.J. Blyther is a 2006 graduate of Oak Habor High School.
