Air Force Airman 1st Class Troy Koontz graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of Thomas Koontz of Mill Creek and Leslie Koontz of Salem, Ore. Koontz is a 2004 graduate of Henry M. Jackson High School.
Air Force Airman Kyle Simmons graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Simmons earned distinction as an honor graduate. He is the son of Erin Simmons of Oak Harbor, and is a 2009 graduate of Oak Harbor High School.
Air Force Airman Benjamin Konovaloff graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of Tony and Susan Konovaloff of Oak Harbor, and is a 2007 graduate of Oak Harbor High School.
Army Pfc. Jonathan Crawford has graduated from basic military training and advanced individual training at Fort Knox, Ky. He is the grandson of Raymond Crawford of Tulalip and nephew of Jeremy Crawford of Arlington.
