Air Force Airman Jessica L. Patton graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. The airman earned distinction as an honor graduate. She is the sister of Trista Patton of Arlington and is a 2006 graduate of Granite Falls High School.
Army Pfc. Denis L. Moynihan has graduated from the Infantryman One Station Unit Training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga. The training consists of Basic Infantry Training and Advanced Individual Training. He is the son of Dan and Louise Moynihan of Marysville, and a 2005 graduate of Marysville-Pilchuck High School.
Army Pfc. Benjamin L. Crane has graduated from Basic Combat Training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla. He is the son of Brian and Penny Crane of Stanwood and is a 2007 graduate of Stanwood High School.
Navy Seaman Recruit Alan M. Manney, son of Connie Falk of Edmonds, recently completed basic training at U.S. Navy Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. Manney is a 2006 graduate of Meadowdale High School.
Navy Reserve Seaman Recruit Kyle Williams, son of Brian Williams of Bothell, recently completed basic training at U.S. Navy Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. Williams is a 2008 graduate of Bothell High School.
Army National Guard Spec. Curtis D. Salsman has graduated from Phase I of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal course at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, Ala. He is the son of David and Rochelle Salsman of Everett and a 1983 graduate of Cascade High School.
Army National Guard Spec. Eric M. Gerber has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. The specialist is a 1990 graduate of Oak Harbor High School and earned a master’s degree in 2004 from City University of Seattle.
Brooks A. Waller has received an Air Force ROTC college scholarship offer to attend a selected host college or university. Upon graduation from college and completion of the ROTC program, the cadet will receive a bachelor’s degree and a commission of second lieutenant in the Air Force. He is the son of James and Sandra Waller of Oak Harbor and currently attends Oak Harbor High School.
