Air National Guard Capt. Michael Odle participated in the presidential inauguration Jan. 20 as part of the largest-ever contingent of National Guard members to serve in Washington, D.C. More than 7,000 Army and Air National Guard members participated. Odle, a public affairs officer with five years of military service, is a member of the 173rd Fighter Wing from Klamath Falls, Ore. He is the son of Judy Odle of Las Vegas, Nev., and Bob Odle of Edmonds. The captain graduated in 1999 from Meadowdale High School and received a bachelor’s degree in 2003 from Black Hills State University, Spearfish, S.D.
Navy Seaman Apprentice Sean M. Coffman, son of Kimberly and Shanin M. Coffman of Snohomish, recently completed basic training at Navy Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. Coffman is a 2008 graduate of Snohomish High School.
Navy Seaman Apprentice Gregory J. Sedillos, son of Karen Gross of Burbank, Calif., and James Sedillos of Lynnwood, recently completed basic training and was meritoriously promoted to his current rank at Navy Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. Sedillos is a 2005 graduate of Herbert Hoover High School in Glendale, Calif.
Marine Corps Capt. Luke J. Prigg, a 1995 graduate of Snohomish High School, recently reported for duty with Training Squadron 21, Naval Air Station, Kingsville, Texas. Prigg joined the Marine Corps in May 2000.
