OLYMPIA — A man who was the financial officer for an American Legion post in Lacey has been accused of writing himself $8,000 in checks.
The Olympian reported Chris Allen Parker, 58, of Roy is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday in Thurston County Superior Court on a theft charge.
Police say he took the money to pay his bills and intended to pay it back.
