OREGON CITY, Ore. — Authorities say an Amtrak train hit and killed a pedestrian Tuesday in Oregon City.
Sgt. Nate Thompson of the Clackamas County sheriff’s office says the southbound train remained on the tracks after the accident, which happened near an intersection north of downtown Oregon City.
The Oregonian reported that authorities did not immediately describe the victim.
