SULTAN – Snohomish County sheriff’s deputies arrested a man early Friday on suspicion of shooting a neighbor during an argument.
The men were drinking inside the suspect’s travel trailer in the 15700 block of N. Skyview Drive, sheriff’s spokeswoman Jan Jorgensen said.
They started arguing, then the suspect allegedly pulled out a gun and shot the victim in the head. The victim, 41, fled the trailer to a nearby house, and police were called.
The victim was taken to Valley General Hospital in Monroe and was later transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where he was in satisfactory condition on Friday.
He is expected to recover, Jorgensen said.
Deputies found the suspect, 44, inside the trailer. He was arrested for first-degree assault and booked into Snohomish County Jail.
Jorgensen did not know why the men began arguing.
