ARLINGTON — The school board here is set to vote Monday on hiring an Arlington High School principal.
Superintendent Chrys Sweeting is recommending Duane Fish,principal of Bainbridge High School. He has five years’ experience as a principal and six as a teacher.
Since February, the school district has done surveys, forums, reference checks and school visits to help with candidate selection. The finalists were Fish, interim Arlington High Principal Christine Hinojosa and Auburn High School Principal Richard Zimmerman.
The school board is scheduled to vote on whether to approve Fish. The meeting is open to the public. It starts at 6 p.m. at 315 N. French Ave.
