ARLINGTON — An Arlington woman died in a crash Saturday on Highway 530, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Just after 12:30 p.m., a 52-year-old Stanwood man was driving east on the highway approaching Arlington Heights Road, according to a state patrol memo. A 26-year-old Stanwood woman, Zoey Ensey, was turning from Arlington Heights Road to go the opposite direction.
The Stanwood man, driving a Chevy Avalanche, reportedly ran a red light, striking Ensey’s Volkswagen Passat in the intersection.
Ensey later died at Cascade Valley Hospital, according to the state patrol. The man was injured and taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.
Troopers on Saturday were investigating whether the man should face criminal charges.
