Arlington woman sought after crash

ARLINGTON — Police are looking for an Arlington woman who crashed her car into a light pole Wednesday and ran off.

The woman, 23, was seen speeding in the 18900 block of 45th Drive NE when she lost control of her car and smashed into the light pole, knocking it down, Arlington police spokeswoman Kristin Banfield said.

Arlington police closed the area to traffic for two hours to conduct an investigation and remove the light pole from the roadway.

The woman didn’t show up for her job today and police want to talk to her about the crash. Anyone with information is asked to call Arlington police at 360-403-3400.
