Snohomish County: Road striping work
Snohomish County leaders are asking drivers to be mindful of wet paint as road crews apply textured safety striping this fall.
The work to apply stripes along 38 miles of county roadway was scheduled to begin Tuesday and to last through mid-November. It’s being paid for with a $1.7 million federal safety grant.
The plan was to work on these roads in the following order: Ben Howard Road between Monroe and Sultan; Jordan Road between Granite Falls and Arlington; Pioneer Highway south of Stanwood; Pioneer Highway north of Stanwood; and 67th Avenue NE between Marysville and Arlington.
Orange cones will block driveways for about 45 minutes to allow paint to dry. If you drive over wet paint, you could get paint on your vehicle.
