Everett: City accepting applications for lodging-tax grants
Nonprofits and public agencies developing programs that promote travel and tourism in Everett have until Monday to apply for a lodging-tax grant. Grants are awarded on a competitive basis to applicants able to complete a project by Dec. 31. To apply, email dwilliams@everettwa.gov or download the application packet from everettwa.org/Get_PDF.aspx?pdfID=8789. Applications are due by 5 p.m. in the city clerk’s office on the first floor of the Wall Street Building, 2930 Wetmore Ave.
Everett: Sustainability Challenge open for entries
Businesses and students developing sustainability projects are invited to enter the Northwest Sustainability Challenge to compete for cash awards and business support.
Judges will determine winners based on improving sustainability and showing high potential for commercialization.
Entrants will be invited to a kickoff breakfast March 3 at Everett Community College.

Everett: Annual Senior Citizen Dance deadline
The registration deadline for Everett High School’s annual Senior Citizen Dance is Friday. The free dance will be held Feb. 27 and includes a spaghetti dinner and tunes from Everett High’s jazz band and jazz choir. To reserve a spot, call 425-385-4448.
