Join Friends of Camano Island Parks members on a 3.3-mile guided community walk at Camano Ridge Forest Preserve on Saturday.
Meet at 9:50 a.m. at the Camano Multipurpose Center, 141 E. Camano Drive.

Index: Ensemble to perform
Enjoy Russian folk songs this weekend at the River House in Index.
The folkloric vocal ensemble Juliana &PAVA performs at 7 p.m., Saturday, at the corner of Fifth Street and Avenue A.
Tickets are by donation. People can get them at the door, which opens at 6:30 p.m.
The concert is to benefit the Index-Pickett Historical Museum. It is being funded in part by Northwest Heritage Resources.

Lakewood: Dinner planned
The deadline to order tickets is Friday for the annual Lakewood Sports Booster Club dinner and auction.
The fundraiser begins at 5:30 p.m. March 10 at the Stillaguamish Senior Center, 18308 Smokey Point Blvd.
Tickets, $25 each, can be purchased by contacting Tami Peterson at 425-244-6945.

Stanwood: Fundraiser set
The Base Camp Winter Ale Fest to benefit Summit Academy, an independent school in Stanwood, is scheduled for 5 to 10 p.m. Saturdayat the Skagit County Fairgrounds in Mount Vernon.
The Crying Shame with singer Christine Kuntz, a teacher at the school, is set to perform.
Tickets are $40 at the door.
Designated driver admission is $20 and includes a free bratwurst and root beer.
