Bothell: Park board meets Wednesday
The Northshore Park and Recreation Service Area Board will meet at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at Northshore Senior Center, 10201 E. Riverside Drive in Bothell.
Camano Island: Meeting tonight on clean water utility tax
Island County public works, planning and health department staff are asking people with questions about the county’s proposed clean water utility to attend a forum tonight.
The meeting is from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Camano Senior and Community Center, 606 Arrowhead Road, Camano Island.
Other forums are scheduled for Dec. 8 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Freeland and Dec. 9 at Coupeville Recreation Hall.
The Clean Water Utility is a joint proposal from various county departments to address water quality and quantity issues, including stormwater, drinking water and shellfish harvesting areas. The services of the proposed utility and the variable rate structure needed to run it will be outlined along with how the utility would be administered.
Monroe: Auction to benefit Chamber of Commerce
The Monroe Chamber of Commerce plans to hold its 25th annual fundraiser auction at 6 p.m. this Friday at the Echo Falls Country Club, 20414 121st Ave. SE in Snohomish.
Tickets are $60 and cover entrance and dinner. Tickets can be purchased at the Chamber of Commerce at 111 W. Main St., Monroe.

Terrace: City looks at transit strategy
A transit service strategy has been recommended to the City Council by the Planning Commission at a public meeting. The strategy defines goals and offers ideas for enhanced transit service for areas around the city, the Town Center and the 220th Street corridor.
The council will review the strategy at a meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday at Interim City Hall, 6100 219th St. SW, Suite 220.

Snohomish: Fill a stocking at the Station
The Snohomish Station plans to celebrate its second annual “Tis the Season” with a holiday craft bazaar, pictures with Santa Claus and the adopt-a-sock project. “Tis the Season” is scheduled to start 2 p.m., Friday and 10 a.m. this Saturday and Sunday at the Snohomish Station, 2727 Bickford Ave.
The adopt-a-sock project is in benefit the Snohomish Boys &Girl Club.
