Edmonds: City plans Highway 99 changes
The city of Edmonds has scheduled an open house for March 5 regarding planned improvements at 76th Avenue W. and Highway 99.
City officials will take comments from the public on that project and on the city’s long-term transportation plan.
The open house begins at 4:30 p.m. at City Hall, 121 Fifth Ave. N. Presentations are planned for 5:30 and 6:15 p.m., with each session followed by the opportunity to provide input on the plans.
The Highway 99 project involves extending 228th Street SW from 76th Avenue W. to Highway 99.
A raised-center median will be installed on the highway near 76th Avenue W. to prevent left turns across three northbound lanes of the highway.
