Lake Stevens: Register for kindergarten

Kindergarten registration and parent information night is scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on March 10 at each of the Lake Stevens School District’s elementary schools.

Kindergarten registration packets, along with other important kindergarten information, will be provided at the parent information night. The parents of children who will be five years old by Aug. 31 can attend the event with their future kindergartner. Registration forms also are available on the district website, www. lkstevens.wednet.edu.

Schools are set to begin collecting completed packets March 14. Parents must bring their child’s birth certificate, proof of immunization and proof of residence when dropping off the packets.

Those who are not sure which neighborhood school their child will attend should call the district’s Transportation Department at 425-335-1508.
