Monroe: People wanted to teach classes
The Monroe School District is looking for people to teach classes for the Sky Valley Community Schools program.
A teaching certificate or previous experience is not required. The district wants to hear from people who have an interest or skill that they’d like to share.
Classes begin in March. The deadline for instructors to apply is Feb. 20.
Most instructors receive compensation of 60 percent of the class registration fees.

Monroe: Public hearing on pot
The city has scheduled a public hearing on Monroe’s marijuana code at 7 p.m. Monday at City Hall.
The purpose of the hearing is to take public comment on proposed changes to the zoning rules for marijuana businesses.
