Everett: Schools survey disaster preparedness
Everett Public Schools is conducting an online survey through Feb. 6 to gather public perspective and concerns about preparing for natural hazards.
The surveys will gauge people’s opinions of how much at risk the district’s schools are to earthquakes, flooding and other disasters.
That information will be used for future planning.
Everett Public Schools is one of 20 districts in a state pilot program to develop disaster preparedness plans.
The program is funded by a grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
The survey is one part of Everett’s planning process. Other parts also will include opportunities for public commenting.
The survey can be found online at surveymonkey.com/s/EPShazardmitigationsurvey.
