Police plan DUI emphasis patrols
Police agencies around Snohomish County plan the annual “Drive Hammered, Get Nailed” emphasis-patrols campaign Friday through Sept 3.
Last year in the county, during the same time period, 113 people were arrested for driving under the influence in Snohomish County, transportation officials said.
People are reminded to call 911 if they believe they see someone driving impaired, and to try to provide details such as location, vehicle type and license plate information.
The Snohomish County DUI &Target Zero Traffic Safety Task Force help organize the campaign.
