SNOHOMISH – The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office will conduct an autopsy today of a 50-year-old man who was found dead Saturday in an apparent homicide, Snohomish County sheriff’s spokeswoman Jan Jorgensen said.
As of Sunday, the victim’s identity had not been released.
Police are trying to find the man’s missing vehicle, Jorgensen said. The vehicle is a black 1984 Pontiac Firebird with license plate 952 LVP. Anyone who sees the vehicle is asked to call 911.
The man was discovered between 1 and 2 p.m. by a female family member who went to visit him in the 1100 block of Maple Avenue. When she arrived, she found the man dead and called 911, Jorgensen said.
Snohomish police requested the help of the sheriff’s major crimes unit, Jorgensen said.
