EVERETT — A couple of bail bond agents found their man Friday evening. They found him bleeding from a gunshot wound.
Police were called just after 6 p.m. to a house in the 12100 block of 1st Drive SE in south Everett. Deputies were told that bail bondsmen showed up, looking for a wanted man, Snohomish County sheriff’s spokeswoman Shari Ireton said. They located the Everett man, 44, inside the living room. He’d been shot.
He was taken to a hospital. An update of his condition was unknown Monday.
Neighbors told police that a vehicle and motorcycle both left the scene just before the bond agents arrived. No other suspect information was provided Friday. The bondsmen are cooperating with detectives.
Police are frequently called to the house. Two stolen vehicles were recovered there several nights ago, Ireton said.
