BRIER — A 24-year-old Lynnwood man was hit and killed by a pickup truck while riding his bicycle near Brier Saturday morning, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
Police and medics were called to the intersection of Atlas and Barker roads in an unincorporated area of the county around 10:30 a.m., Lt. Brent Speyer said. The man died at the scene.
The truck was driven by a 43-year-old Mountlake Terrace man. It does not appear that alcohol was a factor in the accident but it remains under investigation, Speyer said.
