SNOHOMISH — A bicyclist was hurt early Friday after being hit by a semi on Highway 9.
The accident occurred just after midnight at the intersection with Marsh Road, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The cyclist was riding on the right shoulder when he apparently veered into traffic and was struck by the truck, the patrol said.
The man was taken to Providence Everett Medical Center. His condition was not immediately known.
The truck driver, 53, of Mount Vernon, was not injured.
