SEATAC — Detectives have identified a badly decomposed body found in a duffel bag outside a garbage bin as a 23-year-old Utah woman.
KOMO-TV reported that King County Sheriff’s office has identified the remains as Jenna Ferguson of Payson, Utah. Her body was discovered Monday. The sheriff’s office says the case is being investigated as a homicide.
Authorities say Ferguson was last seen in early June when she walked away from a church-based rehabilitation program.
The King County Medical Examiner is still working to identify how Ferguson died and authorities urged the public to come forward if they have any information.
