ARLINGTON — Human remains were discovered Saturday afternoon by two people walking their dog at Twin Rivers Park near here.
Detectives are conducting a death investigation. The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s office is working to identify the remains, officials said.
Information about the age, gender and how long the person might have been missing were not immediately available.
The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office was notified and the remains were removed from the park Saturday, sheriff’s office spokeswoman Shari Ireton said.
The medical examiner will try to determine the cause and manner of death, Ireton said.
