EVERETT — A body was found floating Thursday morning near the Everett waterfront.
Everett police received the report around 10:45 a.m. about what appeared to be a body in the water north of the Weyerhaeuser Building, between the docks and Jetty Island, officer Aaron Snell said.
Divers worked to recover the remains around 11 a.m.
The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office will be tasked with determining the identity and cause of death.
