CARSON — The body of missing Yakama tribal fisherman has been found on the Columbia River near Carson.
Tribal chairman Ralph Sampson Jr. said Sunday the body of James Peter Jr. was discovered just west of the mouth of the Wind River.
The search is continuing for two other Yakama Nation members, Gailen Espirito and Rommel Strom. All three have been described as in their 20s and 30s.
The three were in a boat that was found capsized on May 7 near the mouth of the Wind River, and the search has been coordinated by Columbia River Inter-Tribal Fisheries Enforcement.
