KALAMA — The Cowlitz County sheriff’s department said a man’s body has been recovered from the Columbia River in Kalama.
The body was spotted Tuesday, floating in debris near the Emerald Kalama Chemical dock.
Capt. Corey Huffine says there were no visible signs of trauma. The county coroner’s office has identified the body but the name was not immediately released pending notification of relatives.
