DENVER — Settlements have been reached in lawsuits filed against Boeing Co. by more than a dozen passengers on an airliner that veered off a Denver runway in December 2008.
Court documents filed earlier this month did not include details of how the cases were settled.
Lawsuits filed in federal court alleged that Chicago-based Boeing negligently designed or manufactured certain parts of the Continental Airlines plane, including its “directional control mechanism.”
A judge last month chastised the passengers’ attorneys for failing to build their case.
Messages left for Boeing and passenger attorneys weren’t immediately returned Wednesday.
Attorneys have until Feb. 28 to file dismissal paperwork. A separate lawsuit against Continental is pending in Texas.
