CATHCART — An unsubstantiated bomb threat was reported Thursday at Little Cedars Elementary School.
Principal Lew Dickert sent a note to parents about what happened. The threat was found in a bathroom stall during lunch, he wrote. It was in red ballpoint pen.
“It was kid print, a younger kid,” school district spokeswoman Kristin Foley said.
Kids were cleared from buildings and told there was a fire drill “so as not to alarm them,” Dickert wrote.
A student at nearby Glacier Peak High School reportedly confessed last month to a series of bomb threats there.
Dickert encouraged parents to talk to their kids and pass along any information to authorities.
“I am saddened that this has reached into our school,” he said.
