SEATTLE — The Issaquah woman accused of giving two Snohomish County women botched beauty treatments was sentenced Friday to 13 months in federal prison.
Xin He, also known as Faith He, 46, used counterfeit wrinkle removers and wasn’t licensed to give customers injectable treatments at her Bellevue beauty salon, prosecutors said. The Snohomish County women had to seek medical treatment after they were injected with the counterfeit products. One woman required plastic surgery after the injection sites became hard and swollen.
She was indicted and a convicted at a bench trial in October.
