BOTHELL — A chase that began in Snohomish County early Wednesday morning ended in Bothell when the driver rolled over spike strips set up by police, the Washington State Patrol reported.
A Bothell man, 29, was arrested for investigation of attempting to elude a police vehicle and making threats to a state trooper.
Troopers allege the driver of an SUV led a chase that covered more than 30 miles, reached speeds over 110 mph and may have sideswiped another car.
“I am told the driver is possibly suicidal and may have fired some shots in the air at a south Snohomish County apartment complex after a possible domestic dispute with a girlfriend,” trooper Keith Leary said.
