EVERETT — A Bothell man pleaded guilty on June 12 to sexually abusing three Marysville Middle School students in 2022.
Perry Strom, 27, entered the guilty plea in King County Superior Court as part of a plea agreement with prosecutors.
According to King County court documents, Strom allegedly sexually assaulted the students in exchange for vaping devices and edibles in 2022.
The students — three girls ages 12, 13 and 14 at the time — reportedly added Strom on Snapchat after hearing he could sell them vapes. When they said they didn’t have enough money, Strom said he would give them the product if they hung out with him, according to court records. Strom was 24 at the time.
In January 2022, Strom reportedly called the students a ride share from Marysville to his Bothell apartment. When they arrived at his apartment, Strom reportedly gave the students alcohol and edibles. That night, Strom allegedly sexually assaulted all three girls, court documents show.
He later reportedly drove the girls back to Marysville and gave them the vapes at no charge.
Strom reportedly stayed in contact with the girls. In September 2022, he allegedly raped one of the students.
Strom pleaded guilty to three counts of commercial sexual abuse of a minor, one count of third-degree rape of a child and another count relating to intent to deliver a controlled substance.
Strom’s sentencing is scheduled for 1 p.m. Aug. 29 at King County Superior Court. The prosecuting attorney recommended five years in prison, a $5,000 fine and that Strom register as a sex offender.
