KENT — King County prosecutors filed rape and kidnapping charges Wednesday against a 15-year-old boy accused of raping two teenage girls over the Halloween weekend in Kent.
The victims, 17 and 19, were attacked after they got off buses. A young man riding a bike said he had a gun and forced them into secluded areas where they were raped.
Investigators identified a suspect and arrested the boy Monday at Kentwood High School. Charging papers say DNA evidence matched him to the attacks.
Prosecutors are seeking to try him as an adult.
